Mr Samir M CManaging Director

Mr. Samir M CWith full responsibility for the leadership and development of Fortune Hotels, Samir plays a key role in meeting the company’s aggressive growth goals as well as building on the brand’s outstanding reputation for providing efficient service to the customers as well as to the promoters. He brings with him incredibly strong knowledge and experience, which will be vital as the brand continues to increase its presence in India.

As Managing Director of FPHL, Samir would also oversee the functioning of the WelcomHeritage brand.

A Masters of Business Administration degree from University of Southern Queensland, Australia and Diploma in Hotel Management from IHMCTAN, Ahmedabad, he has rich and valuable Operational & Sales experience of over two decades across Asia.

Prior to joining Fortune Hotels, he worked with InterContinental Hotels Group for over 22 years in operational and leadership roles at various locations in India, Southeast Asia and Korea.

 

Mr. Arindam Kunar, Vice President - Operations

Mr Rohit MalhotraMandated with overall operations and performance of all hotels in the portfolio to enhance stakeholder value, Arindam is responsible for optimum operational performance, compelling guest experiences, people and process development and ownership engagement.

An alumnus of the Institute of Hotel Management, PUSA, New Delhi, Arindam’s career spans over 27 years with organizations like Choice Hotels, Hyatt, Taj Hotels and IHG. Awarded as the General Manager of the Year Award 2014 for Crowne Plaza brand across Asia Middle East and Africa, Arindam specialized in rooms division after which, he honed his skills in Revenue Management and Marketing. He has held multiple leadership roles in the capacity of General Manager & Area General Manager and also sharpened his asset management skills with brief roles at DLF and Emaar Entertainment, Dubai. Arindam has deep insights in driving operational efficiencies, improving guest delight, people engagement practices and enhancing returns for shareholders.

Arindam continued to advance his expertise and knowledge with a various general management programmes at IIM–Bangalore, IIM-Ahmedabad, TATA Management Development Centre, Centre for Creative Leadership & a CHBA certification from HSMAI.

 

Mr. Rajesh Nath, Head – Sales & Marketing

Mr. Rajesh Nath Rajesh brings with him over 30+ years of extensive expertise in Hospitality Sales. Having joined ITC Hotels as a Management Trainee, he is a home grown achiever and has many a feathers gracing his hat. Until recently, he was heading South Sales for ITC Hotels and brings with him a deep understanding of competition, industry and markets. A graduate from Xavier’s College Kolkata and an MBA from Calcutta University, his charming demeanor, attention to detail and sharp business acumen is noteworthy, and complements his zeal for unsurpassed efficiency and excellence.

 

 

Mr. Sidharth Shah, Head – Finance


Mr. SidharthSidharth is a Chartered Accountant with over 17 years of experience in handling various finance profiles like Operational & Business Finance, Corporate Finance, Corporate Planning, Corporate Audit and Management Information System.

He has worked in ITC Infotech India Ltd (A 100% subsidiary of ITC Limited) for 8 years wherein he has anchored the MIS, Planning and revenue management for ITC Infotech and its Group Companies. He led various IT and planning process transformation and digitization.

Sidharth has headed the Eastern District of Trade Marketing & Distribution (TM&D) Division of ITC Limited for over 3 years wherein he has managed the supply chain, distribution and warehouse operations for East India. He has also handled smooth transition to the new GST regime from earlier VAT, Service Tax & other Indirect Taxes.

He joined ITC Hotels in 2018 and has handled role of Financial Accountant of the Division. He anchored the transition of Statutory Auditors, Indirect Tax and MIS department for the Division. Prior to joining FPHL, he was Head of Finance for ITC’s flagship Hotel, ITC Maurya. During his stint at ITC Maurya the Hotel clocked the highest ever revenue (> Rs. 300 crores) and profit (Rs. 100 crores), he also successfully concluded a Long-Term Agreement with the Employee’s Union.

Graduated from St Xavier’s College, Kolkata, he did his Chartered Accountancy also from Kolkata.

He is numismatic, a marathon runner and a passionate photographer. He is married to Anisha who is also a chartered Accountant & an entrepreneur and have son named Ryan who is 8 years old.

 

 

Mr. Nilesh Mitra, Vice President - Talent Management, ITC Hotels

Commercially focussed and result oriented HR Leader having three decades of experience in senior HR roles within India, South Asia & Europe. As a strategic and collaborative leader, Nilesh has managed the human capital function and steered talent transformation for over 20,000 employees in prior regional & global roles.

By spotting HR opportunities to favourably impact business results, Nilesh has also partnered with hotel & corporate teams on several transformational initiatives in turn creating a robust framework of HR support for hotel brands in respective segments. In his current role as VP Talent Management at ITC Hotels, his expertise spans across talent acquisition & development, performance management, organizational development and compliance. Known for his strategic leadership and ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives, Nilesh has successfully implemented programs that foster employee engagement, drive productivity, and promote a positive workplace culture.

Adept at navigating complex challenges, Nilesh has led cross-functional teams, developed and executed talent management strategies, and ensured regulatory compliance. His understanding of workforce planning and succession planning has contributed to significant cost savings and enhanced organizational effectiveness. He is passionate about developing leaders and creating inclusive environments where employees thrive. His proactive approach to problem-solving and commitment to continuous improvement has resulted in better retention rates year on year.
